In most cases the EDC on your pump can be effectively repaired without even removing your pump from the vehicle, saving hours of mechanics labour and speeding the entire process up significantly.
No need to remove the pump from your vehicle, all we need is the EDC unit and It is a safer option than a 2nd hand pump with unknown life expectancy.

Unless you are buying a new Bosch pump or a quality refurbished unit from an authorised Bosch agent, you could be costing yourself a lot more than you could potentially save.

EDC electronic control board contains a range of delicate electronic components IN 'Open' Semi-Conductor Production (unpacked electronic S ) also known as Hybrid Component Technology.

The open semi conductors are covered in a silicon gel to prevent foreign bodies coming to contact with the unpacked semi-conductors i.e dust, liquids, condensation etc

By simply touching the gel with light finger pressure you can cause enough damage to make it impossible to repair the unit, which means you will be faced with the cost of a replacement pump and control board - substantially more than a repair from us would cost.

Unless you are a micro electronics expert it would not be wise to even open an EDC let alone try to repair on this type of unit.
